Google Business Profile posts are a direct signal to Google that your business is active and engaged. East13 automates the creation and scheduling of GBP posts so your listing stays fresh without you lifting a finger.
Why GBP Posts Matter
Google rewards active listings. Businesses that post regularly to their GBP tend to rank higher in the local pack (the map results at the top of search). Posts also give potential customers more reasons to choose you — they can see your latest offers, updates, and expertise right in the search results.
How East13 Handles GBP Posts
East13 generates GBP posts based on your business services, recent content, and local events or seasonal trends relevant to your industry. Posts are created in the right format for Google — short, actionable, and with a clear call to action.
The system schedules posts on a cadence that keeps your listing consistently active. You can see the schedule and upcoming posts in the Local SEO → GBP Post Calendar panel of your dashboard.
The GBP Post Calendar
The calendar view shows:
- Upcoming scheduled posts with their content preview
- Published posts with engagement metrics (views, clicks)
- Post type — Update, Offer, Event, or What’s New
- Suggested posting frequency based on your competitors’ activity
Reviewing and Editing Posts
Every post goes through a review step before publishing. You will see pending posts in your dashboard with the option to approve, edit, or skip. If you want to add a personal touch or adjust the messaging, edit the post directly in the preview. Approved posts publish automatically at the scheduled time.
Post Types
East13 creates four types of GBP posts:
- What’s New — General updates about your business, team, or services
- Offers — Promotions or discounts with optional coupon codes and expiration dates
- Events — Upcoming events, webinars, or community involvement
- Updates — Seasonal tips, industry news, or thought leadership relevant to your audience
Measuring Impact
After posts are published, East13 tracks views and clicks. Over time, you can see which post types and topics drive the most engagement. This data feeds back into the content generation system to produce more of what works.
