Publishing content on your own website is essential. But publishing on other platforms — Medium, LinkedIn, press release networks — builds authority signals that strengthen your entire domain. East13 handles off-site publishing automatically as part of its Cloud Stack system.
What Is the Cloud Stack?
The Cloud Stack is East13’s off-site content distribution network. It takes your best content and publishes versions of it across high-authority external platforms. Each external publication links back to your site, creating real backlinks from established domains.
Where Content Gets Published
East13 currently publishes to:
- Medium — Daily articles published to a branded Medium publication
- LinkedIn — Daily posts and articles to your connected LinkedIn profile
- Press release networks — Professional press releases distributed to news outlets (available on Authority plan and above)
Each platform gets content tailored to its format and audience. Medium articles are longer and more in-depth. LinkedIn posts are shorter and more conversational. Press releases follow AP style and are structured for news distribution.
How It Works
The Cloud Stack runs on a daily schedule:
- East13 selects the best-performing or most strategically important content from your site
- It generates a unique version for each target platform (not a copy — a rewritten version to avoid duplicate content issues)
- The content is published automatically with attribution and backlinks to your original page
- Publication is confirmed and tracked in your dashboard
Viewing Your Cloud Stack
In your dashboard under Growth → Cloud Stack, you can see every external publication with its platform, publication date, link, and status. The panel also shows aggregate metrics — total external publications, total backlinks generated, and the estimated authority value of each.
Why This Matters for SEO
Search engines treat backlinks from high-authority domains (Medium, LinkedIn, major news sites) as strong trust signals. A consistent flow of off-site publications builds your domain’s authority over time, which helps everything on your site rank better. This is not a shortcut — it is a sustained, legitimate authority-building strategy.
What You Need to Do
Nothing. Cloud Stack publishing runs entirely on autopilot. Content is generated, adapted, and published without any input from you. If you want to review what is being published externally, check the Cloud Stack panel in your dashboard. You can pause or skip specific publications if needed, but most businesses leave it running hands-free.
